Watch out when clients have migrated to VOIP as in #6 above. We’ve found thousands of dollars in savings from services that were never cancelled. Particularly with old centrex lines and frame relay lines. Also, be careful with I.T. managers who are a bit possessive of their turf. Great telecom audit article:
