Actual examples of the ways some of our clients were losing money on their telecommunication expenses and the telecommunications cost savings audit allowed them to achieve the following results:    

 

1.  We found that a long-distance carrier erroneously charged a client for outbound long distance access charges on inbound-only trunks that were incapable of dialing out ($3,350 per month saved).

 

2.  We found that a data circuit network provider did not waive access charges upon the installation of the telecom services as specified in the sales contract (one-time telecommunication savings of $5,500).

 

3.  We found that phone hackers invaded a client's toll-free number, using a clever scam to be transferred to the outside operator to make long-distance calls ($2,200 per month saved).

 

4.  We found unused modem lines and data circuits that should have been disconnected five years earlier by a carrier ($820 per month saved, plus five-year refund received on the telecommunications bill).
